Migration Policy : To promote National Integration, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti adopted Migration Policy in 1989. This provides an opportunity to all students, at an impressionable age, to live and learn along with other peers from states other than their own and get acquainted with, and motivated by experiences of National Integration. To cope up with this missionary, students of this Vidyalaya had been migrated to Shimla and Car Nicobar Island.. The same percentage of students was received from those states to this school. This scheme greatly helped to give our impetus to the preparation of massive interlinked reference material as well as literary exchange to pull down language barriers and the prejudices built in them.

JNV, Karaikal is linked with JNV, Rewa of Madhya Pradesh. We sent students of Class-IX to Rewa & received 21 students from the same Vidyalaya.

Assistant School Pupil Leader), sports, Mess captains and House Prefects are also nominated to develop leadership qualities, dignity of labour, self-discipline, self service and the spirit of students. Though academic excellence is highly respected and expected of a student, one without much of a scholarly academic performance can also have a suitable place for him in other fields such as Sports, Art, Gardening, SUPW and in Music. An attempt is made to see that no student finds himself good for nothing so that various responsibilities and works have been given to the students.
